We have opportunities to get together, learn from God’s Word, and enjoy our Christian fellowship.

Bible Class at Zion

Zion offers a variety of opportunities to take a deeper look at the Bible and grow in our faith.

Our Sunday Bible classes meet on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, following our worship service. We also meet every other Wednesday evening at 7:30. Please see the calendar on the website for meeting dates.

Our current midweek class is "Elephants In The Room." We see it everywhere: every form of school science curricula, presentations in national and state parks, educational shows on PBS and National Geographic TV channels, children’s books. The theories of evolution are set in front of us as irrefutable and unassailable fact. It can seem overwhelming for Christians who want to still hold to their beliefs in a personal God and the Bible. So what’s the “solution.” A commonly held supposed compromise is what is referred to as “theistic evolution”: accept all the tenets of evolutionary teaching and also hold that God merely “started it all.” The Bible study Elephants in the Room will help us see from Scripture how such a compromise leaves everything of evolution but leaves nothing of the gospel and God’s plan of salvation through Christ. Join us as we study God’s Word and grow not only in Scripture’s teaching about creation but God’s entire plan of salvation for us.

In our Sunday classes we are studying the book of Daniel.

Bible Information Class

New to the Word? Want to find out more about the Bible? Our Bible information classes give you an introductory look into the Bible and all it has to offer us. If you are interested in such a class, please contact the pastor.

Confirmation Class

We offer confirmation class to students in the Sixth through the Eighth grades. This class meets every Wednesday evening during the school year at 6:30. This class prepares the students for their confirmation day by taking a deeper look at what the Bible teaches.

Choir

A group of members who love to sing and want to use their talents to praise God by adding their voices to our worship services. Zion’s choir meets every Wednesday evening during the school year. Please see the calendar for the practice schedule.
